My Story

I have nine fingers!

I’ve always worked with my hands. I’ve built houses. I build and repair bicycles. I fix stuff. Give me some materials and some tools and I create!

In 2020, we all found ourselves with extra time at home and I got interested in rebuilding an old Seadoo.

I bought an old piece of junk and self-taught myself to completely rebuild and restore it.

Next thing I know, more and more people asked for help fixing theirs. We were having a blast.

Then at the end of 2021, I found a lump on my hand and got it checked out. It was an easy fix - I had a minor procedure to remove it.

Then, on January 10th, 2022 - the doctor’s office called and asked me to come in that day. Turns out, I had a rare, aggressive cancer - Digital Papillary Adenocarcinoma.

I’m a blessed man. The cancer was found before it spread, but my right index finger and part of my palm had to be amputated.

I’ve had to learn how to do everything differently, but it barely slowed me down.

So, I hope you will watch and see how this nine-fingered guy still wrenches and fixes stuff.
